Harry D. Venezia, Jr.
Managing Director

Mr. Venezia co-founded HealthCare Capital Advisors in 2001 after 13 years on Wall Street in healthcare investment banking and equity research. Mr. Venezia manages the investment banking services for HCCA’s clients, directly working with more than 600 institutional investment firms and select angel networks throughout the United States. He also consults with clients to position them properly prior to entering the capital markets.

After being accepted to the Duke University Medical School in 1984, Mr. Venezia focused his career in financial services. He served in healthcare investment banking and equity research with one of the nation’s largest investment banking firms before co-founding HealthCare Capital Advisors in 2001.

Mr. Venezia earned a B.A. in Economics and Biology at Duke University and holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He has been designated a two-time Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst and has a Series 7 license.

Scott Davidson, CFA,
Vice President

Mr. Davidson joined HealthCare Capital Advisors in August 2001 and specializes in the placement of equity to the venture capital community, hedge funds, private equity funds, and angel networks to fund the growth of HCCA’s investment-banking clients.

Prior to joining HCCA, Mr. Davidson served as a lead consultant with Allen and Company, a professional management consulting firm serving clients throughout the Midwest and East Coast. Prior to 1998 when he joined Allen & Company, Mr. Davidson was a Research Associate at First Albany Corporation’s Equity Research Department in New York covering a wide range of companies.

Mr. Davidson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has a Series 7 license.
